Twisted Palace is the conclusion of the Royals trilogy and a worthy successor to Broken Prince & Paper Princess. Subtitled "This Generation's Cruel Intentions," this novel will appeal to fans of fantasy and historical fiction alike. Steve O'Halloran
"Steve O'Halloran and Twisted Palace" (the second book in this series) is the Reed Royal's second book. He was accused of killing Brooke Dawson, and Steve O'Halloran returned from the dead to care for his daughter Ella. Steve O'Halloran may not be a typical father and is trying his best to dictate what Ella should do. This is not a great situation for Ella. Ella has grown tired of being told what should she do. She must learn to cope with Reed's abusive relationship and Steve O'Halloran's insistence on her actions or else she'll be the next murder victim.

Ella from twisted castle is the third installment in the series. Ella is in a place where she must fight to save her mother and her father. Her life has been difficult and now she finds out that her boyfriend will be going to prison, and her boyfriend's father has returned. Reed is someone Ella loves and trusts. But is he the right man to be Ella's partner?

Reed's Twisted Palace tells the story of young lovers who must protect their families and fight the law before they are exposed. This novel was the result of two bestselling authors. Ella Reed and Ella, two of the most beloved characters in the series, are also best friends. However, their paths may not always be straight. The series follows the lives of both characters as they fight their pasts to save themselves and their families.
Steve's relationship and Ella
The Broken Prince trilogy continues in the same vein as Twisted Palace. Ella struggles to establish a relationship with her father, a selfish jerk. Steve strips Ella from Reed and sets her strict rules. Ella feels unloved. How can Ella survive a relationship that is self-centered?
Falling apart in Twisted Palace
Twisted Palace balances Ella's love triangle with Reed well, but the novel is lacking in romance. The romance between Ella (and Reed) is more passionate than those in most YA books, but it is overshadowed a possible murder conviction and Ella’s machinations. Twisted Palace's romance may be a cliché.
Steve's story has a sad ending
It was disappointing to see the end of Steve's story at Twisted Palace. The storyline focused on the relationship between Ella and Reed, the relationship between Brooke and her baby daddy, and Steve's relationship with Ella's mom. The author did not pay much attention to the real killer and gave no explanation as to where Steve was. The storyline would have been much better without these recurring characters.
