Don't forget to watch the funny shows of that decade like The Bachelor. Although it can be difficult choosing a favorite, this list highlights some of my favorites.

An American Family

An American Family and other 2000s reality televison shows were among the first of its kind. They portrayed the evolution of American families, from the dysfunctional to the happy. Loud was seen as the antithesis for a typical family. The family came to learn that Lance was gay as the series progressed. The American people have changed so much that the resurgence of the show was a great testament to this.

Survivor

Survivor is an American version the popular international Survivor franchise. It originated in Sweden in 1997, when it was first broadcast. It was a runaway hit for CBS, producing 37 seasons and spawning versions worldwide. The popularity of the US version has been rivaled by the Superbowl. Each team consists of ten people who fight for their lives to stay alive.

The Best Life in the Fab Lane

In the '00s there was a Style Network show called Life In The Fab Lane. It followed a former supermodel, Kimora Lee Simmons, and her family. In the hopes of one day being supermodels, viewers watched the show to see if they could create their own clothing line. Kimora's fashion brand made her a household celebrity. She walked the runway and was featured on magazine covers. Kimora maintained a positive attitude about her body, and she loved being the center of attention. It launched Riff Raff's hip-hop career.

Thrill of a Lifetimetimetime

The 1980s were a time when "Thrills for a Lifetime" was a popular television program that allowed viewers the opportunity to pursue their dreams and try out new sports. You could experience everything from romance to daredevil and even some model-aspiring contestants. Although the show was aired only in Canada, it was also aired internationally. Producers are now considering a revival.

Real People

Some of the best 2000s reality tv shows featured real people. Popstars is a good example of this type of show. However, many of these shows have been cancelled as they aren't as engaging as they seem. Although this is understandable, it doesn’t mean they aren’t bad. Allowing aspiring artists to show their talent is a good thing.

Oceanquest

This TV series, which was first broadcast in 1985, has been a hit for more than twenty years. The first season of the series was a hit, with viewers loving every minute of it. But the show's success has largely depended on the way it portrays its contestants. The characters, most of whom were scuba divers, often exhibited unusual skills, including freediving.
